Sustainable Living Heritage Ranch is hosting the One Island Sustainable Living Center program on the west coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. This flagship education center offers local residents and guests hands-on learning activities in Sustainable Agriculture, Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Resource Conservation, Art and Culture, and Health and Wellness - all components essential to building sustainable communities. The West Hawaii Sustainable Energy Project is providing technical assistance, grants, and revolving community loans to help lower the cost of energy for local residents and build community capacity for improving energy efficiency and solar energy generation. |
